By COLLIN BREAUXThe musical “MAMMA MIA!” will be presented by the Holmes County High School Drama Department on Friday, April 26; Saturday, April 27; Thursday May 2; Friday May 3; and Saturday, May 4, at the HCHS Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.
“’MAMMA MIA!’ is a jukebox musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson based on songs recorded by Swedish group ABBA and composed by members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus,” a press release said. “The musical’s title is taken from the group’s 1975 chart-topper ‘Mamma Mia.’”
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 22, and can be purchased at Holmes County High School.
