The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) recently received a donation of handcrafted quilts from the Holmes Valley Quilt Guild. According to the sheriff’s office, the quilts will be placed in deputies’ patrol vehicles and distributed to community members facing difficult and unexpected circumstances, such as house fires, vehicle crashes and other traumatic events. HCSO expressed gratitude to the group for their willingness to give back to the community and support those in need. The quilts can be seen above as they are presented to Sheriff John Tate.
