On June 4, according to a report from Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, investigators responded to a residence on Highway 171 to serve an arrest warrant on Chris Finch for alleged Sale of Methamphetamine. Upon arrival, Finch was observed in the yard and taken into custody without incident.
While on scene, investigators developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence. The warrant was executed, and a search of the camper trailer on the property revealed trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.
During the investigation, Wendy Riley approached the residence on foot and was observed with a meth pipe in plain view, hanging from a nylon pouch. She was detained, and a subsequent search revealed multiple pipes and a loaded syringe containing methamphetamine.
Both individuals were arrested and face the following charges:
