Cody Williams was arrested on a methamphetamine trafficking charge following a traffic stop conducted by deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Thursday, June 11.
According to HCSO, deputies stopped a white van driven by Williams in Ponce de Leon. During the stop, K-9 Delta was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the van led deputies to approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine that was allegedly concealed inside a cigarette pack.
Williams was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Holmes County Jail, and he was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
