A Gritney man is in custody after fleeing from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office during the service of a warrant from Washington County on March 9.
HCSO arrived at a residence on Tobe Retherford Road in an effort to arrest Johnny Shelton on out of county felony warrants.
Shelton fled from the residence on foot on the arrival of HCSO. Deputies were able to run him down and successfully take him into custody.
