HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (August 1, 2025) — A search warrant executed by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office on July 31 led to the arrest of three individuals in connection with ongoing methamphetamine trafficking at a residence on Mt. Pleasant Road.
Deputies conducted the search following an investigation into suspected narcotics sales at the property. Upon arrival, officers secured the occupants and searched the home. Inside a kitchen cabinet, deputies discovered a bottle containing over 100 grams of suspected meth oil. Additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found throughout the residence, along with packaging materials indicative of drug distribution.
Three individuals were arrested and face the following charges:
- Melvin Murchinson – Trafficking in Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine
- Angela Mott – Sale of Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
- Melissa Freeman – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
